The blowout preventer is a very important well control device, which plays an important role in drilling, especially underbalanced drilling. The purpose of designing the blowout preventer is to close the wellbore under pressure, maintain continuous control of the well, and circulate the formation fluid entering the well. Hydraulic blowout preventers mainly include ram blowout preventers and annular blowout preventers. The ram blowout preventer is mainly composed of shell, side door, cylinder, cylinder head, piston, piston rod, lock shaft, seal, ram, etc. Its working process is to use hydraulic pressure to push the piston to drive the shutter to close or impact to open, thereby closing or opening the wellhead, achieving the purpose of closing and opening the well. The ram of the ram blowout preventer can be divided into four types: fully sealed, semi-sealed, reduced diameter and shear, which are used for sealing wells under different conditions. The semi-sealed ram can seal drill pipes, oil pipes and other corresponding pipelines, and can hang drilling tools when necessary. When there is no pipeline in the well, the fully sealed ram can completely seal the well head under special circumstances. The shear ram can cut off the drilling tool. In addition, drilling fluid circulation and choke-killing operations can be performed at the flange outlet beside the shell.

 According to the shape of the sealing rubber core, the annular blowout preventer can be divided into cone annular blowout preventer and spherical annular blowout preventer. Its structure is mainly composed of the shell, the top cover, the rubber core and the piston. When there are drilling tools, tubing or casing in the well, the annular blowout preventer can use a rubber core to seal the annular space of different sizes of various blowout preventers. When there is no drilling tool in the well, the wellhead can be completely closed, or it can be drilled. , Coring and logging operations, close the annular space formed by the kelly, coring tools, cables and steel wires and the wellbore. In the case of using a pressure reducing valve and a pressure regulating valve, drilling can be carried out by forcibly pulling off the drilling tool. The working principles of these two annular blowout preventers are similar. When it is found that the well surge needs to be sealed, the high-pressure oil delivered by the control system enters the closed cavity at the lower part of the piston from the lower oil port, pushes the piston upwards, and the spherical rubber core moves upward along the spherical surface. The tapered rubber core is affected by the top cover and the piston. It is restricted to be close to the center under the squeeze of the inner cone, tighten and surround the drilling tool, so that when the drilling tool is sealed or the wellhead is fully sealed, the piston descends and the rubber core is reset by its own elastic force to open the wellhead.
